Algemene informatie

Datum en openingstijden (aangepast)

Oranjebloesem 2024 vindt plaats op Koningsdag, zaterdag 27 april bij het Olympisch Stadion Amsterdam van 12:00 tot 20:00.

Locatie

Een monumentale locatie met veel Amsterdamse historie: Oranjebloesem vindt plaats in en rondom het Olympisch Stadion uit 1928. Met meerdere grote stages en genoeg ruimte om te bewegen en te chillen.

Minimale leeftijd

Voor Oranjebloesem geldt een minimale leeftijd van 18 jaar. Er kan naar legitimatie gevraagd worden.

Dit wordt binnenkort gemaakt.

Afterparty (Nachtbloesem)

Nachtbloesem, de officiële Oranjebloesem 2023 afterparty op Koningsdag. Na het Olympisch Stadion gaan we door Club Atelier in Amsterdam West van 20:00 tot 04:00. Haal je tickets hier op deze website.

Er zijn drie zalen met house, techno en hard techno. De line-up is: Benny Rodrigues, DIØN, DRKNGHTS, Lee Ann Roberts, Philou Louzolo, VNTM + nog meer artiesten die pas op de avond zelf worden aangekondigd.

Er zijn lockers te koop bij de afterparty.

Bereid je voor op het weer

Bijna alle stages zijn open air. Een paar tips:

- Houd rekening met wisselende temperaturen. In de avond kan het flink afkoelen dus kleed je in laagjes en neem een warme jas mee;
- Neem zelf, just in case, een goede (regen)jas of poncho mee. Er zijn geen single use poncho's op het festivalterrein te koop om onnodig plastic afval te voorkomen.

Kluisjes

Er zijn kluisjes aanwezig op het terrein tegen betaling. Het is niet toegestaan om grote tassen mee naar binnen te nemen.

De lockers (medium en large) kan je via de ticketshop vooraf reserveren. Je ontvangt dan vlak voor het festival per e-mail de lockercode, zodat je niet in de wachtrij hoeft te staan!

Vier het goede leven, maar doe dit wel veilig met de 10 pijlers van Celebrate Safe:

Check de website van Celebrate Safe voor meer info over de pijlers en Unity voor meer tips om veilig te feesten. Geniet van de vele feesten overdag en 's avonds en let een beetje op jezelf en op anderen. Less is more, zeker als je nog even door wilt feesten.

Drugs en medicijnen

Harddrugs of andere verboden middelen bij je hebben of verhandelen is verboden. Softdrugs is wel toegestaan (maximaal 5 gram, geen voorgedraaide joints).

Als je medicijnen mee neemt naar het festival, neem dan een doktersverklaring mee en meld je bij de beveiliging om aanspraak te maken op een uitzondering.

Eten en drinken

Op Oranjebloesem zijn meerdere bars, verspreid over het terrein. Hier kun je zowel alcoholische als niet-alcoholische drankjes halen. Ook zijn er genoeg foodtrucks met een uitgebreid en volledig vegetarisch aanbod. Eigen eten en drinken meenemen is niet toegestaan.

DOEN:
- Legitimatie meenemen! Dit evenement hanteert een minimumleeftijd van 18 jaar.
- Meewerken aan een veiligheidsfouillering. Dit is verplicht.
- Let goed op je eigendommen. Berg waardevolle spullen op en pas op voor zakkenrollers.
- Look sharp. Door hier te zijn geef je ons toestemming beeld- en geluidsopnames te maken en te gebruiken.
- Volg de aanwijzingen van beveiligers en personeel altijd op.
- Wees voorzichtig! De organisatie is niet aansprakelijk bij schade of letsel, tenzij dit het directe gevolg is van nalatigheid.
- Bij het betreden van het terrein ga je automatisch akkoord met deze huisregels.
- In gevallen die hier of elders in de FAQ niet vermeld staan, maar waar toch discussie over ontstaat, beslist de organisatie.

NIET DOEN:
- Eigen drank en eten, glas, blik, plastic flesjes, spuitbussen, vuurwerk en (huis)dieren kunnen niet mee naar binnen.
- Toiletspullen mogen daarentegen wél mee het terrein op (rol deo's, geen spuitbussen)
- Wapens of andere gevaarlijke voorwerpen zijn verboden.
- Fysiek of verbaal geweld, discriminerend of intimiderend gedrag, ongewenste intimiteiten en/of ander aanstootgevend gedrag wordt niet getolereerd.
- Je mag geen kleding met provocerende, aanstootgevende of beledigende opdruk dragen of meenemen.
- Andermans spullen stelen of kwijtmaken is verboden.
- Je kan muntjes of consumptiebonnen niet aan ons terug verkopen of bewaren voor een ander evenement.
- Professionele audio- en video apparatuur meenemen, flyers uitdelen en/of andere promotieactiviteiten zijn verboden tenzij anders afgesproken.
- Het terrein tussentijds verlaten. Binnen = binnen en als je weg gaat kan je niet terug.

Gehoorbescherming

Zorg goed voor je oren! Bij muziek boven 87 dB is het verstandig om oordoppen te gebruiken met een speciale filter. Met deze oordoppen hoor je de muziek nog perfect, blijven gesprekken verstaanbaar maar je voorkomt wel gehoorschade en de vervelende piep na een feest. Oordoppen zitten comfortabel en tijdens Oranjebloesem zijn ze verkrijgbaar bij de merchandise stand. De oordoppen zijn herbruikbaar, dus je kan ze na Oranjebloesem vaker gebruiken. Hou van je oren!

Munten

Munten koop je op het terrein, er zijn op vier verschillende locaties munten te verkrijgen. Je kan munten alleen met pin kopen, dus GEEN CASH!

Let op: munten zijn na het festival niet meer inwisselbaar.

Roken en sigaretten

Roken is niet toegestaan in tenten of onder overkappingen. Loop dus even de buitenlucht in voordat je een sigaret opsteekt en gooi de opgerookte peuk netjes weg. Er worden geen sigaretten op het terrein verkocht. We moedigen het gebruik van pocket ashtrays toe, sigaretten zijn namelijk naderhand lastig op te ruimen.

Rolstoelen & slecht ter been

Oranjebloesem is goed toegankelijk voor mensen met een rolstoel, maar de entree is via een ander adres. Kom je in een rolstoel, dan kan je via de Na-Druk-Geluksbrug (Brug 696) ten zuiden van het Olympisch Stadion naar binnen. Let op, je kan hier niet parkeren. Bij iedere toiletgroep is een mindervalide toilet aanwezig.

Wil je toch graag bij de hoofdentree naar binnen, meld je dan bij het personeel. Onder begeleiding van beveiliging kan je dan via een rustigere ingang naar binnen gaan.

Voel je veilig op Oranjebloesem

We vinden het enorm belangrijk dat iedereen zich veilig en op diens gemak voelt op Oranjebloesem. Zie je iets gebeuren waar je vraagtekens bij hebt of ervaar je zelf een onprettig of onveilig gevoel? Je kan dit melden bij ons security personeel. Zij zijn hiervoor getraind en kunnen je opvangen.

Vervoer

Auto's, kiss & ride, taxi's

Je kunt bij Oranjebloesem je auto NIET parkeren. We adviseren dan ook om met OV of met een busreis te komen als je van buiten de stad komt.

De kiss&ride en Uber pick-up/ drop-off bevindt zich ten zuiden van het Olympisch Stadion. Navigeer naar IJsbaanpad 11-1. De taxi standplaats is aan de Laan der Hesperiden.

Fiets

Het Olympisch Stadion is gemakkelijk te bereiken op de fiets. Navigatieadres is Stadionplein 111 Amsterdam. Vanaf Amsterdam Centraal is het ongeveer 25 minuten fietsen. Je fiets parkeer je tegenover de entree, op het Stadionplein.

Ook is het mogelijk om met OV naar het festival te gaan:
- via Station Zuid is de makkelijkste route, hier komen trein en metro aan. Vanaf hier is het 20 minuutjes lopen.
- Houd op de terugreis rekening met een langere wachttijd bij station Zuid
- Let op: Stadion RAI is op Koningsdag gesloten. - Plan je reis via de NS-app of op ns.nl
- Regel je ticket alvast vooraf online naar Station Zuid, of zorg ervoor dat er genoeg geld op je OV-chipkaart staat
- Ga je nog ergens afteren en wil je daarna met de trein naar huis? Gok niet op de allerlaatste trein, deze kan druk zijn.
- Hou er rekening mee dat je geen alcohol mag meenemen naar het station en in de trein. Op ns.nl/koningsdag is meer informatie te vinden over de treintijden en op 9292ov.nl over metrotijden.

Merchandise

Kopen & ophalen

Je kan de officiële Oranjebloesem merchandise via de ticketshop kopen en op het festival zelf. Online gekochte merchandise kan op het festival opgehaald worden bij de merchandise stand. Zorg dat je je ordernummer bij de hand hebt.

Duurzaamheid

Energie

De energie die we op Oranjebloesem nodig hebben wordt geleverd door een combinatie van batterij en netstroom. Naast hernieuwbare bronnen is het ook belangrijk om energie gebruik waar mogelijk te verminderen. Dit doen we door het maken van een slim stroomplan met onze partner Greener Power Solutions.

Bekers en flesjes recyclen

Op Oranjebloesem betaal je voor je eerste beker, flesje of blikje. Bij het bestellen van een nieuw drankje lever je je oude beker, flesje of flesje weer in. Dit om te voorkomen dat het op de grond wordt gegooid. Je kan bekers, flesjes of blikjes niet terug inruilen voor munten.

Eten

Vleesproductie heeft een grote impact op milieu en klimaat. Vandaar dat wij in samenwerking met onze lokale cateraars een volledig vegetarisch en divers aanbod hebben samengesteld. Denk hierbij aan een heerlijke frietjes, een vegaburger of frisse smoothies. Daarbij wordt gezorgd dat producten waar mogelijk lokaal worden ingekocht, zodat de transportafstanden worden beperkt.

Grondstoffen

Met de transitie naar een circulaire economie wordt “al het afval op één hoop” verleden tijd. Vandaar dat wij werken met een grondstoffenplan, dat afzonderlijke afvalstromen maakt van de verschillende type grondstoffen. Deze zogenoemde “mono stromen” kunnen vervolgens worden aangeboden aan lokale verwerkers. Zo worden bijvoorbeeld alle bekers gerecycled tot nieuwe bekers door onze partner The Rubbish Project

Introductie

Sinds oktober 2022 is Oranjebloesem officieel onderdeel van de Green Deal Circular Festival. Deze Green Deal heeft ten doel om een blauwdruk te ontwikkelen voor een circular festival in 2025. In samenwerking met 43 festivals uit heel Europa en de Nederlandse overheid werken wij de aankomende jaren aan het ontwikkelen van deze blauwdruk. Als deelnemer aan de Green Deal streven wij dan ook naar een Circular Festival in 2025.

Plant een boom

Ondanks alle verbeteringen op andere vlakken blijft de logistiek van mens en materiaal tot op heden nog niet uitstoot neutraal te krijgen voor Oranjebloesem. Vandaar dat wij met onze partner Trees for All van plan zijn om een bos ter grootte van 2500 bomen te planten, deel in Nederlands en deels in tropische gebieden. Hiermee kunnen de gezamenlijke emissies worden gecompenseerd en wordt de wereld een stukje groener. Wil je samen met ons sparen voor dit nieuwe bos?

Waar staan we nu?

In 2022 zijn er een aantal goede stappen gezet die we graag met jullie delen:

1. De totale uitstoot van Oranjebloesem (incl; reisbewegingen leveranciers, bezoekers en artiesten) is ten opzichte van 2019 met 30% gedaald. Dit komt neer op 45,1 ton C02, wat 25% lager is dan een gemiddeld stadsfestival van hetzelfde formaat. Bron: Milieubarometer

2. Ten opzichte van de vorige editie is het inzamelen van bekers, flesjes en blik met 40% verbeterd en is de hoeveelheid restafval met 13,5% verminderd.

3. De editie van 2022 heeft volledig gedraaid op een combinatie van net en batterijstroom, hierdoor is er geen druppel diesel verstookt voor de stroomvoorziening.

Buren

In onze vergunning zijn strikte geluidsnormen opgesteld, waarop zowel de gemeente als de organisatie van Oranjebloesem op toezien. Vanaf 11:00 zal de muziek starten, en de 26ste vinden mogelijk soundchecks plaats. U kunt hier de brief lezen die bezorgd is bij de buurtbewoners van het Olympisch Stadion. Zijn er verder nog vragen? General information

Afterparty (Nachtbloesem)

Nachtbloesem, the official Oranjebloesem 2023 after party on King's Day. After the Olympic Stadium we continue at Club Atelier in Amsterdam West. Get your tickets here on this website. More information follows.

Date and opening times

Oranjebloesem 2023 will take place on King's Day, April 27th at Olympic Stadium Amsterdam from 11.00 until 20:00.

These opening hours of the festival have been adjusted. The festival would take place from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Elsewhere in this FAQ there is more explanation about why this had to be changed. After 20:00 we still have an afterparty in Club Atelier: Nachtbloesem. More information about this will follow soon.

Lockers

We have e-lockers (medium and large sized) available at Oranjebloesem. This means you will receive a code instead of a key, and you don’t have to pay a deposit. The medium sized locker (2 to 3 coats) are 25cm wide, 24.5 cm high and 50cm deep. The large sized lockers (4 to 5 coats) are 25cm wide, 33,5 cm high and 50cm deep. If you have any question regarding lockers, please contact e-lockers.

Venue

The festival takes place at a landmark location in Amsterdam: the monumental 1928 Olympic Stadium. With multiple stages programmed with various strands of quality, underground music and plenty of space to move and relax.

Minimum age

You need to be 18 years or older to visit Oranjebloesem. Your ID may be checked.

Due to the forced adjustments to the festival explained elsewhere in this FAQ, there will be three instead of four stages this year. Unfortunately, Nicky Elizabeth and Colyn can no longer perform. Benny Rodrigues, DRKNGHTS, Philou Louzolo and VNTM move to the afterparty Nachtbloesem.

Weather predictions

All stages are open air. A few tips:

- Take changing temperatures into account. In the evening it can cool down considerably so dress in layers and bring a warm jacket;
- Bring yourself, a good (rain) coat or poncho. There are no single use ponchos for sale on the festival site to prevent unnecessary plastic waste.

Combitickets with a tourbus

Unfortunately, due to the forced scaling down of the festival, we are no longer allowed to sell normal festival tickets.

Do you still want to come but don't have a ticket? That is still possible with a combi ticket including bus trip. To make this as easy as possible, we sell these bus trips below cost price.

We drive from several cities in the Netherlands to Oranjebloesem and back. All options are on this website. You can choose from a two-way ticket or just a return trip.

Lost your tickets or never received them?

You can have your tickets sent to yourself again at any time via the website of our ticketing partner Eventix. If this does not work, please contact the Eventix helpdesk.

We may receive fewer visitors than planned. As a result, normal tickets for the festival are sold out immediately. No ticket? You can still buy combi tickets with a bus trip via this website.

Do you already have tickets? These remain valid.

Why can't I download my ticket?

All tickets can only be downloaded shortly before the festival (and after personalization) to prevent fraud.

Do you want to re-sell a ticket? Look up the confirmation email, click on 'download tickets', scroll down and you will see a Ticketswap link. Search your email for “UW BESTELLING VOOR ORANJEBLOESEM 2023” for the confirmation email. You can read more information here.

The only difference between the ticket waves is the price. The sooner you buy your tickets, the cheaper they are.

Drugs and medicine

Hard drugs and other illegal substances are not allowed on the festival. You can bring softdrugs up to 5 grams, but no pre-rolled joints. If you bring medication, please bring a doctor’s note or something similar to apply for an exemption with security at the door.

Food and drinks

There are multiple bars spread out over the terrain where you can buy alcohol and alcohol free drinks. There are also plenty of food trucks with an extensive and fully vegetarian selection. Bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed.

DO’S:
- You need to be 18 years or older to visit Oranjebloesem. Please bring a valid form of ID.
- Cooperating with security checks at the entrance is mandatory.
- Please mind your belongings and store valuables. Pick pockets may be on the prowl.
- Look sharp. By entering the festival you give us permission to photograph and film you, and to use any material made as we please.
- Follow any instructions given to you by security or staff at all times.
- Be careful! The organisation is not liable for any damage or injury - unless it’s the direct result of gross negligence.
- By entering the event you automatically agree to stick to these rules.
- In any dispute that causes discussion that is not mentioned here or elsewhere in the FAQ, the organisation will make the final call.

DONT'S:
- Bringing your own drinks, food, glass, cans, plastic bottles, aerosols, fireworks and pets is prohibited.
- Weapons and other dangerous items are prohibited.
- Toiletries are allowed on the terrain.
- Physical violence, discrimination and intimidating behaviour, harassment and/or other offensive behaviour is prohibited and will not be tolerated.
- Clothing with provocative and offensive prints are prohibited.
- You can’t leave and re-enter the event during show.

Hearing protection

Please take care of your ears! With music above 87 dB it is smart to use earplugs with a special filter. With these earplugs you can still hear the music perfectly, conversations remain intelligible and most important of all, you prevent hearing damage and the annoying ringing after the event. In addition, earplugs are very comfortable. During Oranjebloesem earplugs will be available at all the merchandise stand. The earplugs are reusable, so you can protect your ears not only at Oranjebloesem but at other festivals as well. Love your ears!

Tokens

You can buy tokens on the terrain, there are sales points available at four different locations. Please note: tokens cannot be exchanged after the festival.

Smoking and cigarettes

Smoking is not allowed in tents or under roofs. Please go outside before you light up your cigarette and throw away the bud once finished. It is not possible to purchase cigarettes at the festival. We encourage the use of pocket ashtrays, because cigarettes are difficult to clean up afterwards.

Wheelchairs

Oranjebloesem is accessible for wheelchair users, however the entrance is through a different address than the main entrance. Navigate to the Na-Druk_Geluksbrug (Brug 696), south of the stadion. Please note you cannot park here. There are multiple disability toilets spread out over the terrain.

Feeling safe at Oranjebloesem

It's important to us that everyone feels safe and comfortable at Oranjebloesem. If you see something odd happening, or if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please go to our security staff. They are there to help you and are trained to handle these kind of situations.

How to get there

Cars, kiss & ride, taxis

You cannot park your car at Oranjebloesem. We strongly advise to come by public transportation or with Busjedelen if you come from outside Amsterdam. Navigate for the Kiss & Ride and for the Uper pick-up/drop-off to IJsbaanpad 11-1. Taxis will arrive and depart from Laan der Hesperiden.

Bike

Oranjebloesem is easily accessible by bike. Navigation address is Stadionplein 111 Amsterdam. From Central Station it’s 25 minutes by bike.You can park your bike opposite the entrance, on the Stadionplein.

Public transportation

Public transport is also possible:
- The fastest route is via Station Zuid. You can take the subway or train.
- On the return journey, take into account a longer waiting time at Station Zuid
- Please note: Station RAI is closed on Kingsday
- Plan your trip via the NS-App or via ns.nl - Buy your ticket in advance online to Station Zuid, or make sure you have enough credit on your OV-chipcard
- If you are staying in the city and want to travel back home at night, remember that the last train home can be very busy
- Please note that it is not allowed to bring alcohol in the train or to the train stations Check ns.nl/koningsdag for more information regarding the trains and 9292ov.nl for information about metros.

Merchandise

Buying & pick-up

You can buy the official Oranjebloesem merchandise via our ticketshop and at the festival. If you buy online, you can pick up your order at the merchandise stand at the festival. Make sure you have your order number with you.

Sustainability

Energy

The energy needed for Oranjebloesem comes from a combination of battery and grid power. We make use of wind power and solar energy as much as we can. Next to using renewable energy sources, reducing the amount of energy used is also key, that’s why we create a smart power plan with our partner Greener Power Solutions.

Food

The production of meat has an enormous impact on our climate. That’s why we’ve created a diverse vegetarian menu in collaboration with our caterers. Another important aspect in the catering is sourcing the produce locally and thereby reducing the distance covered by transport. Sourcing locally is not always possible, but wherever we can, we do.

Recycling cups & bottles

At Oranjebloesem you pay for your first cup, bottle or can. When ordering a new drink, you return your old cup, bottle or bottle. This is to prevent it from being thrown on the ground. You cannot exchange cups, bottles or cans for tokens.

Resource management

Enjoying resources responsibly is becoming a vital aspect of life. In order to handle the waste flows the proper way we’ve created a resource management system. This means creating separate flows of waste based on the type of resource, so called “Mono flows”. These Mono flows will be processed by a selection of recyclers in close proximity to the festival. Using this system creates a lot of possibilities to improve the recycling percentage, one being the following: all plastic cups and bottles will be recycled into new bottles and cups. Closing the loop!

Introduction

As of October 2022, Oranjebloesem is officially part of the Green Deal Circular Festival. This Green Deal Aims to create a Circular Blueprint for festivals by 2025 and as a member we aim to become a circular festival by 2025. In collaboration with 43 festivals from all over Europe and the Dutch government, we'll be working closely together in the upcoming years to test and create this circular festival blueprint.

Plant a tree

Despite our efforts the movement of goods and people is still the biggest contributor to the carbon footprint of Oranjebloesem. That’s why we’ve partnered up with Trees for All to start planting our own forest, both in the Netherlands and more tropical climates, through which we can start offsetting our collective emissions. You can donate €1 when purchasing a ticket.

Where are we now?

In 2022 there has been some major improvements in the previously described areas. Based on the data we can share some valuable conclusions:

1. The total emissions of Oranjebloesem in 2022 totaled 45,1 ton of CO2, that's including the travel of supplies, visitors and artists. In comparison to an average city festival of the same size, this is about 30% lower. Source: Mileubarometer

2. As of 2022 Oranjebloesem runs entirely on a combination of Grid and Battery power.

3. The general waste flow has been reduced by 13,5% compared to 2019.

4. Together with you guys we saved our first forrest of Trees, which we'll be planting in the spring of 2023.

Neighbours

In our permit are strict noise regulations, which will be monitored by both the festival organisation and the municipality.
